10 Do's And Don'ts of Social Media MarketingNovember 12, 2017 | By Admin
At this point, we're all familiar with Social Media in our daily life and as a Marketing technique.
However, there are several things we are still learning as we scroll through platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, just to name a few.
Whether you're on Social Media as an entrepreneur or just for personal use, here's a list of do's and don'ts that will help you out.
Do Ask Questions
The whole point is to be social. Start a conversation with your followers, ask them questions, let them know that you're interested in their opinion or advise.
Doing this will also help you to understand your community, their wants, and needs. Start asking!
Do Create Quality Content
Before you share anything on your Social Media profiles, make sure that the quality is the highest.
Photos, videos, designs, and captions must deliver your brand's message effectively, without losing the wow factor.
Social Media Marketing is always evolving. You need to be aware of the latest trends to use them to your advantage.
Studying will keep your image current, maintaining the interest of your customers in the process.
Do Use Influencers
nfluencer Marketing is a big a part of Social Media right now.
However, if you want to make the most of this technique, you need to know your audience. For real.
Do a research to find out what kind of influencer is relevant to your followers, and how would they represent your brand.
Do Schedule Your Posts
Try posting at different hours at first to find out during which hours your followers are more active.
A schedule will make your posts do better in terms of interaction.
Don't Over Post
In Social Media, less is always more. Keep your posts to a maximum of 3 per day.
Trust us, no one likes to follow accounts if they look like spam.
Don't Buy Followers Or Likes
It may look better for your brand at first sight, but it will not translate into real interaction, sales or growth.
Keep it real!
Don't Overuse Hashtags
Similar to buying followers or likes, stuffing your posts with hashtags don't guarantee a bigger community.
Try mixing brand-related hashtags with others that are trendy or relevant to the post, but don't make them more than 5.
Don't Forget To Answer
Believe it or not, this is a common mistake on Social Media.
Besides asking questions (see Do number one), you must answer to your follower's questions or comments.
When you answer, you let them know that you are there for them, and their loyalty has a value.
Don't Underestimate Analytics
The only way to know if your Social Media Marketing strategy is working is through analytics.
Using different tools (like these ones) you will know what kind of content works for you, the best hours to post, and more.
